LEARN TO IMPROVE
Laboratorio Casella offers a range of training internships, also developed around specific technical needs, ranging from basic knowledge of the most common repairs (team mechanic) to the more complex preparations used by staff working within a sector activity.
The role of the repair mechanic, once linked solely to a person's willingness within their own association, is today an important element of the sector, operating across multiple platforms, sometimes technically very complex.
Laboratorio Casella, with 17 years of experience in the field, close to 6 thousand replicas repaired, with 26 years of experience in the electronics sector, specialization in engine mechanical tuning, design and manufacture of mechanical parts, makes this experience available to anyone wishing to expand their audience as well as their working environment.
BASIC LEVEL
The basic workshop is aimed at the “DIY” or “team mechanic” crowd, where you are not expected to work for third parties professionally, or be paid for it, but you need the ability to carry out small repairs.
Topics covered during the workshop are:
- Preliminary checks (what to look at and how)
- Parts check (what to look at and how)
- Identify the problem
- Basic gear shimming
- Check hop-up rubber and inner barrel
- Reassembly and firing test
Workshop duration 4 - 6 hours
Cost € 50.00 per person (minimum 10 participants - excluding travel costs and any accessories related to the workshop)
MEDIUM LEVEL
The intermediate level is aimed at that repairer role within a business that performs simple repairs without going further, basically the simple "repair" of the replica in order to bring it back to its original features or with small improvements.
The topics covered during the course are:
- Preliminary checks (what to look at and how)
- Parts check (what to look at and how)
- Identify the problem
- Shimming and related calculations
- Check hop-up rubber, nub and inner barrel
- Reassembly and firing test
Course duration 6 - 8 hours
Cost € 680.00 per person (minimum 1 participant - excluding travel costs and any accessories related to the course)
PRO LEVEL
The Pro Level is aimed at the professional sector, for those seeking the ability to immediately create specific custom mechanics and/or high technical-performance setups that ensure both long-term durability and above-average performance, with replicas capable of reaching speeds up to 40 bbs and/or effective shooting distances ranging from 58 to 75 linear meters.
The topics covered during the course are:
- Analysis of the customer's requests
- Quoting and costs (technical analysis of the replicas and issues / requests)
- Selection of the parts to use
- Choice of the control electronics
- Pre-install checks for upgrade parts
- Speed calculation
- Analysis of "timing mechanics" - Tappet plate (work and types)
- Gears (work and type)
- The air group in relation to the inner barrel
- Inner barrel (choice and reasons)
- Piston (which one and why)
- Engagement angle in the rotation cycle
- Motors (which one and why)
- Electrical, mechanical and overall efficiency in the replica
- closing the gearbox (checks and tests)
- Final assembly and testing
Course duration 16 - 18 hours (split over two days)
